Our mission
Afrique Terre Natale is a non-governmental organization with a fundamental mission: to support and promote school, academic, and socio-professional education through local initiatives and institutions. We aim to prepare sub-Saharan African youth to take charge, invest in Africa, and advance the development of their continent.
Our story
"Dependence degrades, autonomy ennobles." For decades, Africans have trusted the myths and seductions of their colonizers, allowing themselves to be exploited while believing that their well-being and happiness would come from elsewhere. Today, we understand that these illusions no longer exist. Only serious and conscientious work constitutes an investment that generates well-being and true happiness. Investing in youth is investing for the common good and for a bright future for the continent.
Our impact
In 2024, Afrique Terre Natale provided a significant donation to the St. Joseph Parish School in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This donation was used to manufacture desks and renovate classrooms. We are determined to continue supporting student youth with these kinds of initiatives and many others. It is disheartening to see the conditions in which many pupils and students spend entire days in schools. Often, the precariousness of the infrastructure leaves much to be desired. This absolutely requires action to encourage young people to pursue their studies and training in the best possible conditions.
